If you wrote this blog every day about how running a rescue is sunshine and rainbows then there would be a lot of people sorely disappointed when they actually started their own.

YOU by this blog have shown me why I want to stick with just one chinchilla even though I have family members who want to see "cute little chins". No thanks! I see how hard it is, not just to keep them healthy but to find great homes for them.

And honestly, fuck this person. Your time is more valuable than most. Why? Because you save innocent animals! You have given up your life for these animals who would be released into the backyard and die a slow, sad death. You are there for advice for new owners. You are so quick to offer advice for someone who has never and will never donate a dime. You are a great person and I honestly say your time is more valuable than mine.

Fuck them, Ashley. Keep up the honest blog posts. Sorry for them that there's not a rainbow shining down on your basement! (and let's be real, this is the type of person that IS late for doctor's appointments because they spend their time reading blogs just enough so they can comment obnoxious posts)

Keep it up!
Allison K.
